Mexico is in Texas right now, risking their own lives to save American lives in a truly heartwarming show of humanity. After everything Trump has said and done, after all the horror that ICE represents to the Hispanic community, Mexico rises up to help! I’m truly grateful that they have shown more compassion than our president, who seems to have none. He has been seething with his hate agenda, in his effort to throw them to the curb, no due process, no trials, no compassion, just pure unadulterated cruelty. Yet Mexico shows heart, despite American ICE. This is the fucktard we have as our president. And those helping are the ones he hurts.

The Actual Good Guys

Mexican Rescue Workers

Volunteer firefighters from Acuña, Mexico, are helping rescue and recovery teams in Texas after flash floods killed more than 80 people over the Fourth of July holiday weekend and left others still missing.

According to a protective services government agency in Mexico, the Civil Protection Water Rescue Team and Cure Firefighters teamed up with the nonprofit organization Foundation 911 to assist in search efforts in Kerrville, Texas. They showed up Sunday, the 5th, and got right to work.

The Factual Bad Guy

The floods, among the nation’s worst in decades, swept away people sleeping in tents, cabins and homes along the river Friday in the middle of the night. This flood took so many little angels, my heart is heavy. I almost stopped reading because it hurt. The sad truth is that for the families, there is no escaping the news. This will forever change their lives. This is a tragedy, and this pain never goes away. They had no idea it would be the last time they saw their children. Nobody had any idea, because the meteorologist at the National Weather Service was fired in April by the Trump. He and he alone gutted FEMA and other agencies in place to predict and prevent disasters like this. In fact he still plans on getting rid of FEMA altogether, even after this tragedy.

But what was our president doing while Mexico was coming to our aid on Sunday? He was eating ice-cream and playing golf! As usual. “It’s a horrible thing that took place, absolutely horrible,” he told reporters. Then followed up by saying he would likely visit Texas on Friday.

He will likely visit on Friday? You puffed up piece of shit! You should certainly should have already gone, before even Mexico, and it’s not a damn “visit” or a social call, It should have been a show of concern and support in the face of disaster and tragedy. What we would expect from our president. Instead the National Guard is still in California doing dick with our dime, when they could have been in Texas where children are still missing and families are grieving. He played golf while their little bodies washed ashore.

The Unsung Heroes

The volunteers from Mexico are not the only heroes here. In Kerr County, Tx. alone, amid the flooding that took 75 lives so far, including 27 sweet children, two young women from Mexico became heroes after rescuing 20 girls in their care.

Silvana Garza Valdez and Maria Paula Zarate, who were counselors at the camp, said they desperately put on a “happy face” to keep the children calm as they prepared to evacuate a branch of Camp Mystic — where at least 27 girls and camp counselors are confirmed dead and 11 more are still missing. These hero counselors are both only 19 years old, yet they acted quickly to get these children to safety.

Camp Mystic Counselors

They had lost power, windows were shaking from thunder, everything was chaos, but they knew what to do. They wrote the kids names on their arms, and attached ID tags, they expected the worst, but they stayed calm in the face of their fear for the sake of the children. Their bravery and quick action saved many lives and should be shared. All of the heroes are God sent, and everybody in Texas should be grateful for those that did care and did try.

Camp Hero Dies Saving Children

Camp Mystic Owner

Unfortunately not all the heroes survived, including the Camp Mystic owner. Dick Eastland, who purchased the camp in 1974, died after the wall of water crashed through the Christian summer camp, which is located along the banks of the Guadalupe River, Texas Public Radio reported.

Former camper, counselor remember Dick Eastland as ‘father figure’ who made the ultimate sacrifice. “Camp Mystic’s Dick Eastland no doubt gave his life attempting to save his campers,” Rep. August Pfluger, R-Texas, wrote on X. “For decades he and his wife Tweety poured his life into loving and developing girls and women of character. Thank you Mr. Eastland. We love you and miss you.”

Those are just a few heroes, as this tragedy is still unfolding, but there are a lot of heroes in Texas doing what they can and for that, we all say thank you for everything you gave, for some, that was their life. None of you will be forgotten.

Mexico's President

Do we still think Trump cares about people? I think the truth speaks for itself.
